NEWS from the Life of our Churches

ELDORA(1)We were again blessed as our VBS (May 29-June 1) went very well this year. Everyone had a great time. “Thor” and “Captain America” closed our program with a great performance and Gospel message! (2)On June 10 we ordained Nick Adkins and his wife, Brandi, as deacon and deaconess. We had a pot-luck luncheon afterward. (3)Not much going on at the church in July. With people traveling it’s a great time to bring the Gospel to distant relatives and friends. Some friends and relatives come to visit their families in GA, and we are blessed by their fellowship when they come to visit nearby! (4)July is a month of clean-up and further repairs on our building and grounds. Progress has been made on the buildings that were damaged by the vandals, but it is a slow process with insurance – as some of you might know! Nevertheless, God is so Good – and we ARE making progress! (5)Our bus has been repaired and is ready for Children and Youth Services beginning on Wednesdays after school starts.
